50 students from the Austin High School Panther New Tech Program spent Wednesday morning in the garden. They split into four groups with members of our garden team and learned firsthand about gardening and composting.

A group of AmeriCorps volunteers held their lunch meeting and discussion at the café on Thursday. What a dynamic group of young people! What an inspiration they are!

Friday was a California kind of day at the Mustard Seed Café. We had guests from San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego all in one day!

A group of Immanuel Christian School students spent Friday morning at the café having a scavenger hunt in the garden! Victoria, an intern from El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank, developed the scavenger hunt and sparked their interest in gardening! Brandy, from Hope for West Texas, helped put this amazing opportunity together. Thank you all!!
