Last week, the Mustard Seed Cafe and Amigos Garden staff and board members honored our amazing volunteers at Noche de Gracias! This yearly event is a festive evening of cheer, good food, laughter, and music. Boy Scout Troop 27 and staff from El Paso’s own Chihuahuas baseball team joyfully served our volunteers for the night (thank you!). Everyone enjoyed live music and singing carols together, courtesy of Albert Machorro and Chuck Foss from Dusty Boots.
With over 500 hours served in 2022, Sharon B. is our Volunteer of the Year! Kathrin F. and Randy L. received a special mention for their service. At 102 years young, Miss Frances was named the Volunteer of the Century!
All of our volunteers make our cafe and garden richer. We are truly blessed with the best volunteers and it is always a joy to celebrate them!
