• Know of someone in need of a warm meal? How To Help!

  • COVID-19 Curbside Meals

“But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.” James 3:17

    Dear friends and neighbors,
Thank you for your phone calls and questions about how you can help serve our beautiful community. In light of COVID-19 (coronavirus’) impact on our El Paso community we are making important changes in our service. We have made the difficult decision to temporarily cancel our regular lunch service and Wednesday night Community Meals to prioritize the health and safety of our volunteers, guests, and community.

However, we desire to continue our mission to feed hungry people and care for their hearts. During this difficult time, we are piloting a limited program to distribute free, nutritious meals to those facing food insecurity in our community. We will start with up to 50 free, prepackaged “to go” meals that will be served curbside to those in need on a first come, first served basis. Curbside meals will be offered at the Cafe Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 12:00 to 1:30 or until we run out of food.

This time is a unique opportunity for each of us to serve and love our neighbors in practical and meaningful ways. Please contact Carmen Estrada, 474-3643, if you would like to help with this part of our ministry. Like you, we learn new information daily and continue to pray for God’s wisdom regarding the path forward. Watch our social media for updates. Thank you for your understanding and support.

    Christi Brown
    Executive Director
