Every week we harvest in preparation for the nutritious meals that we provide to our guests. It’s a great opportunity to get outdoors, be active, learn something new, and – most importantly – contribute to our community.
The Amigos Garden is always growing produce for our cafe to incorporate into our meals. Every harvest is different with the changing of the seasons, and it is interesting to see how the garden changes from week to week. There is a variety of harvest work and always something for all to do: light-duty work, heavy-duty, sitting, standing, you name it.
