We are very proud to celebrate one year with Vida Natural!
The Mustard Seed Cafe and Amigos Garden is grateful for the opportunity to continue spreading the word about Healthy Eating through Paso Del Norte Health Foundation’s HEAL Grant.
Through Vida Natural, we offer
- field trips for school-aged children at the Amigos Garden,
- a seasonal week-long school break Kids’ Camp,
- seasonal Amigos Garden Open Houses,
- and our monthly Healthy Eating for Beginners classes –
all free of charge!
This past year, we have impacted people of all ages and different areas of El Paso. Vida Natural has found a way to make Healthy Eating fun and engaging through activities, events, and classes – and don’t forget the salad bar at the Mustard Seed, filled with tasty veggies and fruits! One of our monthly Healthy Eating for Beginners class attendees shared, “I love making the black bean salsa [featured recipe in the class]. It’s so easy and delicious, and I’ve made it several times!”
