Enjoys: organizing stuff, counting the plates, and marking how many meals we give out.

“I love being at the Mustard Seed because I’ve always wanted to serve other people. I did not know of any other ministries I could go to and through a friend and Carmen, I found the Mustard Seed Café. When my friend passed away, I felt the calling to come minister at the Mustard Seed and come back to church. I accepted Jesus in November 2019 at the Mustard Seed Café, through Christi Brown.

I have been here almost 3 years and I enjoy meeting different people every day. The food is always healthy and good and in the winter months you get soup of all kinds. It’s like a family, we look out for each other. This is my second family. I feel valued and needed no matter my circumstances, and I am glad I can serve the Lord through the Mustard Seed Café.”

Sharon was named the Volunteer of the Year in 2022!
